The Swarnabharathi Sahakara Bank Niyamitha., was founded in the year 1999 by Sri T.N. Chowdappa one of the retired JRCS and a veteran co-operator. The first promoters meeting was held on March 30, 1999. The bank was registered under co-operative Societies Act 1959 on 1999 and licensed by the Reserve Bank of India under B R Act, 1949(AACS) on 23.02.2000/-. opening of the bank was inaugurated by Sri H.Narasimhaiah.

The present management under able administrator Sri. P.L. Venkatarama Reddy who is the president since 10/04/2012 to 21/09/2012 And  15/12/2014 to till date with his ever increasing enthusiasm, the efficient administration is a guiding force and under whose visionary approach bank was able to progress in deposit mobilization, admission of new members, and substantial increase in loan portfolio. All financial parameters have taken a giant stride under his leadership.
There is substantial increase in loan recovery as it evidenced by bank’s gross NPA at 3.70% and “0%” Net NPA for the year 2016-17 & gross NPA at 2.78% and “0%” Net NPA for the year 2017-18. The untiring effort of Chief Executive Officer Sri. V. Krishnamurthy and all the staff members contributed to the present position of the bank.
